Greck was retained by the developer to undertake a flood study including the preparation of constraint mapping for a proposed development complex in Toronto, ON. Using Highland Creek hydraulic modelling and recently completed topographic survey information, regulatory flood hazards were mapped to delineate the limits of development.

It was determined that fill within a regulated floodplain area would be required to accommodate the developed. Greck successfully provided consulting services to hydraulically assess the impacts associated with the required fill and worked with the project team to come up with a solution in accordance with regulatory guidelines and requirements.

A design drawing package was prepared for construction and construction inspection services were provided.
