Greck was retained to undertake a Flood Study to determine the regulatory floodplain extents for the subject property in support of future development endeavours for the existing golf course property.

A detailed hydrologic study was completed for the 82.4 km2 watershed which included Waddell Creek and Upper Perch Creek along with all upstream municipal drains and tributaries within the predominantly agricultural landscape.  Resulting flows were hydraulically modeled to determine flood hazard extents within the Telfer Diversion Channel and adjacent development property.

Deliverables included a detailed Flood Study report including all hydraulic and hydrologic analysis as well as regulatory floodplain mapping and considerations for the Telfer Diversion and flood hazard mitigation options.

Greck has since provided Functional Servicing and Subdivision Design Services.
