Greck was retained to facilitate approvals with the TRCA and the City of Mississauga for the design of a townhome and multi-story residential condominium complex. A hydraulic analysis and flood study to assess existing flood conditions in support of the proposed development works was prepared. A cut and fill balance approach was proposed and approved by the TRCA.

Deliverables included the preparation of a flood hazard assessment report with updated floodplain and constraint mapping. Greck represented the client and consulted with the TRCA and City of Mississauga as part of the pre-development application and the City’s DARC process.

Greck worked with other retained consultants to prepare a consistent development plan application ensuring proposed building features were adequately flood protected and appropriate development setbacks addressed for flooding, erosion, slope stability and the conservation of land/ecology.
