Greck was retained by a private landowner to address existing flood conditions on residential and commercial zoned property.

After undertaking a hydraulic analysis and preparing updated floodplain mapping with detailed channel design drawings, a new natural channel and valley system was constructed to reduce and consolidate the floodplain. This exercise effectively improved development conditions for the landowner by improving regulatory constraints/setbacks.

Greck worked with regulatory agencies including the City of Markham, TRCA and MOECC to acquire the necessary permits and approvals. Full time construction administration and inspection services were provided.
