Greck was retained by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to provide water resources and civil engineering services including erosion control analyses, on-site surveying, detail design drawings, construction administration, tender specifications, and inspections for interim protection works of a nearly exposed sanitary sewer located in a section of the West Don River in Vaughan, Ontario.

The design incorporated considerations for fluvial geomorphic processes, application of soil bioengineering principles and an understanding of aquatic and terrestrial habitats.
