Greck completed a feasibility study to evaluate alternative fishways to improve fish passage at the Goodyear Dam on Bowmanville Creek.  The existing fishway was considered to be inefficient at passing the target fish species including migratory rainbow trout and Chinook salmon.

We were then retained to design the preferred fishway concept which included a weir-pool and natural channel fishway components as well as a barrier and trap to limit the passage of sea lamprey and round goby.

The project included steering committee members from CLOCA, MNR, DFO, Valleys 2000 and Veyance Technologies.
