Greck was retained to address existing flood conditions within a residential neighborhood.  We were able to reduce localized flooding to support future development and improve land value by utilizing existing drainage infrastructure under a Metrolinx GO railway with fiberglass lining and the installation of a new high inlet capacity catch basin. 

This involved updating existing hydraulic modeling with updated instream infrastructure improvements, reassessment of flood conditions in the project area using unsteady flow analysis and hydraulic modeling methods, providing a cost benefit analysis for various flood relief alternatives as well as providing a public information center covering the potential flood conditions in the study area.
