Greck were retained to provide civil engineering design services for a proposed multi-use condominium in Bradford West Gwillimbury. The proposed development consists of a 6-storey mixed use commercial and residential apartment building, consisting of 8 commercial units and 228 residential units. The development is to include 3-levels of underground parking for 345 vehicles.
A functional servicing report and preliminary design drawings was completed. This included undertaken a detailed investigation of the Town’s existing sanitary system and available capacity as well as undertaking a hydrant flow test to assess available water supply and fire flow in coordination with the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury. A stormwater management strategy including considerations for LID features was prepared to accommodate water balance and infiltration requirements.
Greck is preparing detailed grading and servicing plans along with an erosion and sediment control plan to accommodate all phases of development, including dewatering operations that will be required during parking lot construction.
