Greck was retained by the land owner to undertake a natural channel design for a proposed industrial re-development property in Brampton, Ontario.  Our work included a hydrologic and hydraulic assessment of the existing urbanized watershed and Etobicoke Creek tributary system.

The new channel alignment is expected to improve future development endeavours within the existing industrial property.  Considerations for channel sizing, grading, erosion control, existing and future drainage and stormwater management objectives were incorporated into the preferred design as well as an analysis of resulting flood hazard impacts within and around the subject property.

Greck worked with regulating agencies and other retained consultants to prepare the proposed channel design in accordance with provincial and conservation authority policies and guidelines.
