Greck were retained by a private landowner to oversee a proposed fill plan to improve agriculture use on a 14ha property located in Canfield, Ontario. The project included a hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and floodplain assessment to determine flood hazard extents. Floodplain mapping was prepared to support the fill and grading plan on the property. In addition, it was determined that an existing undersized culvert needed to be removed to improve local drainage. A new culvert crossing was assessed and design details provided. Detail Design drawings for construction along with a supporting Flood Study report were provide for client and the Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority (NPCA) for review an approval.
