Centre Street Towns

Greck were retained to obtain approvals with the TRCA and City of Richmond Hill for the design of a new residential townhouse located in an established floodplain area.  A hydraulic analysis and flood study was completed to assess existing and proposed flood conditions.  After detailed analysis, including updating hydraulic flow rates and undertaking a new topographic survey to redefine cross-sections and culvert crossings, the flood line was reduced allowing development to porceed.

Deliverables included the preparation of a flood hazard assessment report with updated floodplain/constraint mapping in cordination with other stakeholders.
