Centre Street Towns

Greck were retained to obtain approvals with the TRCA and City of Richmond Hill for the design of a new residential townhouse located in an existing floodplain.  A hydraulic analysis and flood study was completed to assess existing and proposed flood conditions.  Technical analysis of the modelling, including updating flows and local ground and culvert toporgraphy resulting in a net decrease in flooding.  This effectively removed the development out of the floodplain.

Deliverables included the preparation of a flood hazard assessment report with updated floodplain and constraint mapping in cordination with other stakeholders.
